Next Book Club

The first weekend of August, to be hosted by Joy (since Kathy has out of town guests). The book will be:
The Story Sisters: A Novel, by Alice Hoffman

Cake for me

Mmmm....I'm with Joy on Carrot cake, but also any kind of fruit/berry crumble with vanilla ice cream, as long as the filling is both tart and sweet.

<--- I did that...

I thought that it would be easier to have it as a permanent feature, and, well... after "managing" C's website I suddenly think that I'm a web genius. Please feel free to change it if you find it irritating.
And... chocolate + raspberry is the very best kind of cake ever.

More cakes

I think I'd have to go with chocolate as my favorite, and if it includes some kind of fruit as well, all the better. Mmmmmm, caaaake...

Cakes!

Thanks to Kathy for reminding me about the sweeter side of Bibliocakes. My favorite flavors of cake are probably carrot and black forest. However, anything with fruit is good. I hate hazelnuts. Yay cake! What's your favorite?

Welcome Bibliocakes!

Okay I must confess that booksandcakes was not available, but I kind of like the idea of bibliocakes anyway. It's sort of like bibliophiles only with more sugar.
